This is so important. This is your energy, your strength, your calm. This is staving off cancer and Alzheimer’s and osteoporosis.
I know there are only so many hours in the day. We all get the same twenty-four.
I know it’s hard to get moving. But once you start, you’ll love it! Once you start, you’ll crave exercise every day.
I know there aren’t tons of extra dollars in the budget for most of us. But look at where your dollars go. Coffee shop? Bakery? Wine? Cable? Fast food because you’re too tired to cook? If you were to add fancy ice cream, chocolate and retail therapy at a discount shoe outlet, you’d have all my addictions accounted for.
So, here’s the thing. There are only so many hours. There is only so much money. What I’m asking is that you value your health enough to set aside a little of both to keep your body healthy.
And I’m asking that you believe in the need to be healthy enough to tell that corrupt little voice in the back of your head to shut up. You know the voice, the one that tells you you’re too weak, or you’ll look foolish, or it’s too much work. That voice. It’s wrong. You are strong. You are going to look like a rock star. And you are well and truly capable of this.
And it’s going to feel so good.
