This page is here to support, encourage and give you information on how to be your best self. In addition to all the other things we talk about: time management, planning, getting a support network, exercise, eating right and good sleep, you may want to add prayer to the list of things that are good for you.
Well done scientific studies have shown over and over how good prayer and meditation are for us. On our cardiovascular health, on our memory, our blood pressure – the physical effects of prayer and meditation are real and positive. The studies (most of them) were very well done. I’ve linked to an article on Huffington Post that did a good job quickly summarizing a number of those studies.
I know, not everyone who reads this page believes. That’s okay. I still love you. For those of you that do believe, spend some time today in prayer. Give that stress to God. It helps.
